Two Icelandic Warlord brothers, Matthew and his younger brother Zachary, conquered 19 countries across the icy plains. It is said that they made two of these rings, one in black and one in white, with 19 stones, each one representing a great battle they had fought and won. The fleur-de-lis on the sides of the ring is an appreciation to their mother who they both adored. 

Stainless steel is hypoallergenic, so it won't rust, tarnish, or cause any sort of discoloration.
